As individuals, it’s natural to feel discouraged or even trapped when patterns of self-doubt or disconnection take hold. You may feel overwhelmed, with no clear path forward or motivation to begin again. For couples, when communication breaks down, closeness wanes, and old issues resurface, it can feel impossible to know where to start the work of unpacking what is harming your relationship.
I believe that within damage, hurt, numbness, or confusion lies the opportunity for healing, growth, awareness, and clarity. These shifts often begin in a safe, nurturing space where people feel heard, encouraged, and supported. All you need to bring is your presence, willingness and some courage. A bit of humor along the way can be helpful too. My purpose is to walk alongside you as you explore your story, discover and build on your strengths, shine light into dark corners, and move toward meaningful change.
I work with individuals and couples navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, career burnout, women’s issues (including perimenopause and menopause), relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. Sometimes this looks like feeling off-centered and yearning to reconnect with the ‘you’ that you’ve been missing. Other times it can feel heavier, like a struggle to just make it through each day. Wherever you are, I will meet you there – listening, collaborating, and providing a supportive scaffolding for growth. Because therapy is not one-size-fits-all, I draw from a range of approaches, including humanistic, person-centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based practices.
Outside the therapy space, you can often find me hiking a trail, birdwatching, or gardening. Indoors, my favorite trifecta is a good book, a cup of tea, and time with my frito-footed rescue pup. Those who know me describe me as curious, intuitive, and compassionate. I feel honored to help clients show up for themselves, finding healing, growth, and lasting change. If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to reach out – let’s talk.
