Quaneece Calhoun PsyD, TLLP
When you feel stuck, unsure, lost, or afraid, therapy is a great place to begin understanding yourself and working through those struggles. Using a trustworthy, non-judgmental, genuine, and understanding approach, I work hard to collaborate with my clients to help them through their healing process. Together we will create an environment of authentic healing and growth where you can express yourself, explore your past, and create the life you want to live.
I provide individual and couple’s therapy for clients struggling with a variety of difficulties and concerns. I have a special interest in Trauma (including Sexual Abuse/Assault, Childhood Abuse/Maltreatment, Physical Abuse/Assault, Race-Based Stress, and Grief), Depression, Anxiety, Interpersonal Distress, Identity Development, Stress/Time Management, Academic Difficulties, and Emotional Dysregulation.
In our therapy sessions, I will tailor my techniques to your unique needs, personality, and therapeutic concerns. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment, Psychodynamic and Interpersonal techniques. With these techniques, I will provide psychoeducation, assist you in creating and utilizing coping skills, and facilitate the accomplishment of personal and therapeutic goals.
I am a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP) with a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology.
Quaneece is seeing clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
