“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom”
– Anaïs Nin
It is my honor to help facilitate this blossoming in my clients. I am a fully licensed clinical psychologist and have been in practice for 16 years, joining clients on their journeys of self-growth and in their pursuit of rewarding and joyous lives. I maintain a general practice, treating both men and women with a variety of concerns ranging from depression and anxiety to relationship issues, addictions and low self-esteem. I have extensive training and expertise in women’s issues, including eating disorders, weight loss & body image concerns, health/wellness & chronic pain, and both sexual assault & domestic violence. I am also skilled in trauma resolution; trauma often underlying clients’ presenting issues. I take an integrative approach to psychotherapy and tailor sessions to the needs and goals of each individual client. I utilize a variety of techniques and philosophies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic and insight oriented therapies, psychodynamic therapy, and holistically oriented approaches such as mindfulness, meditation, HearthMath, holistic nutrition and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
Kelly is accepting new clients on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Positive Self Center.
